Rose Dale Farm is 101 Years Old
Your "Home Away from Home"
Rod Run Winners !
Again, Art and I would like to thank you for the use of Rose Dale Farm. We had a great time while there. Wish the weather would have been totally perfect all weekend. Of couse the parade was great. Thanks for the use of the double wide driveway. It made it easy to us to unload and load up. We will be back next year for another run for Best of Show. We did get a plaque for Best Paint. Again, thank you for the use of the home !
Just Like Grandma's
I’ve taken my family to Rose Dale Farm many times over the years. It’s a place where my grandchildren can get a glimpse of the life I enjoyed when I was their age.
I grew up with a love for the rural South although my dad moved farther and farther away in pursuit of better jobs. I always looked forward to visits with my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who still lived near Piggott. Whether helping out a little on the farm or in the garden, catching a stringer of bream, or playing a game of cards called Pitch on a rainy day, it was the vacation I looked forward to the most.
Things have changed over time, but Rose Dale Farm is just like grandma’s. It’s a cozy little place with comfy beds. However, it’s been beautifully restored with modern conveniences including cable TV and WiFi. Thank the Lord for air-conditioning. It even has a washer and dryer if needed.
I can bring my grandkids and avoid having to rent multiple hotel rooms. I can have the benefit of the feel of home in a quiet location while staying close to restaurants or fast food if that’s what the kids want. I can also invite relatives and friends over for coffee or dinner at “our place,” and let them carry on with their busy schedules without having to care for us.
Our host, Bert, is most gracious. He ensures that Rose Dale Farm is well maintained and spotless. He keeps the large bathroom stocked with an abundance of fluffy towels, and stocks the kitchen with our requested breakfast items along with a few of our favorite snacks. He’s on standby 24/7 to assist in any way possible.
Letting anyone know about Rose Dale Farm is kind of like letting someone in on the location of a great place to fish. Still, I can’t stay there all the time even though I’d like to.

Bobby Douthit to Rose Dale Farm Bed and Breakfast
My husband and I recently in September stayed at this Bed and Breakfast. This was our second time to stay. It is so wonderful and we could not say enough about this place. It is private and always clean and enough room to have visitors to drop by. The beds are so wonderful I could stay in them all day!.
Piggott is my home town, but I moved away 20 years ago to South Dakota. My only child passed away 5 years ago and is buried in the beautiful, always well kept Piggott Cemetery. She was 42. I try to return every 1-2 years.
Having this wonderful place to come to makes me feel like I never left. Anything you think you will need for your visit here can be waiting on you just by asking. The linens are always soft and the furnishings are antique and makes you feel like you are at grandma's home from long ago. I love this place so much.
I should have left a message about this stay earlier, but, I stayed 6 days here and then traveled more. By the time I returned home, our 37 year old Pastor passed away from a brain aneurysm leaving his wife and a son 5 years old and a daughter 3 years old and a son 11 months. I please request prayers for them and our church, Mountain View Baptist Church in Spearfish, South Dakota.
I will be returning to this wonderful Bed and Breakfast again and hopefully for years to come.
We're sticklers for ensuring your stay to be the best it can be. That's why we have been recommended for our hospitality for several years in a row.

Thank you for letting us stay in your home. It was such a great experience, and we were able to have company over which we couldn't have done at the Inn.

debra brush 5.0 Excellent !
A truly lovely place. Clean and well stocked. Comfortable, hospitable, interestingly and charmingly decorated.
There were five of us girls, including my90 year old mother, on an ancestral mission tour of Malden, MO, where mom's grandfather (c.1867-1937) and parents (c. 1898-1994) were born and raised.
We appreciated having the whole place to ourselves and that we just made our own breakfast with plenty of good, hot coffee with ingredients provided by our host.
I left an item at thehouse, and called our host in panic. He made a search, found the item and graciously mailed it to me all the way to Oregon! Thank you so much Mr. Host!
Your happy guest from Oregon,
My son, family and in laws loved staying in your house ! Hope everything was in order when they left. Thank you again !

What a better than great home to book for a relaxing weekend or week!! We booked this B&B for our family who was coming in for a funeral and it worked out BETTER THAN GREAT not only for the family to stay there but also for the luncheon after the services. I highly recommend this lovely home and truly enjoyed being able to see all the "treasures" there and the stories about the home and area. Thank you SOOOOO much for sharing this with us. - Beth R

My family and I travel every year to Piggott for our family reunion. We have stayed there for the last few years and we absolutely love it. I highly recommend staying here when you’re intown !
We cannot thank you enough for allowing us to stay in this wonderful old home. I have lived in Piggott most of my life and I never knew about this wonderful place. We found the home to be exactly what we needed. I know I have never slept in a bed as comfortable as the one in this home.
Listening to the train in the distance made me feel as if I were home again.
I do so miss Piggott. Our short trip was chocked full of places to go and people to see including having a picnic with my daughter at her grave. Having her daughter, our
